FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing can be found on my webpage, or you can ask me. My portrait, engagement, and family sessions are $200 for an hour. Engagements can be bundled with a wedding shoot. Weddings will differ in pricing depending on the length of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial contact can be through email or phone. We go over what shoot they want, the time frame needed, and what they are looking for. If we agree on everything, I will send over a contract outlining the details for the shoot and everything after. This is to protect both myself, and the client. For weddings, I will normally take a deposit. The deposit price is something that the client and myself go over before the contract is sent. Time frame for return of photos depends on how long the shoot it. A one hour portrait session will be returned quicker than a ten hour wedding event. These are also details that we go over before the contract signing. For weddings and big events, if we are close enough in distance to each other, and the client wishes to do so, we can meet up in person to go over details, deposit, and contract signing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied fine arts at Herron for a couple years, and then moved to Ivy Tech university where I took photography classes including composition and a studio lighting class. As most photographers go, I also have a large amount of self taught skills. Throughout my years in the field, I have picked up more skills through experience and other photographers that I have worked with.
