Eye4Design staged our home in Mooresville, Indiana. We just had it remodeled and there was no furniture in the house so she staged the dining room, office, master bedroom, great room, kitchen nook, outside deck, 4 bathrooms, laundry room and a bonus room. Total time for her to deliver and set up was around 8 hours. Jamila is very professional, detailed and goes above and beyond. When she arrived on her scheduled set up date, the house was not cleaned like it should have been due to someone else we hired to clean not doing their job but Jamila came prepared and even cleaned those areas so she could go ahead and stage the home. The furniture, artwork, rugs and accessories that she picked out made the house look amazing. We would highly recommend her company to anyone needing this service. Her fees were the best on the market at the time and was very affordable. You will not be disappointed. The only feedback I would suggest is that she ask for half the cost be paid before the job and the remainder when the job is finished. She currently asks for all of the money upfront. I don't think that is a very good business practice. All in all I give her 5 stars out of 5 and would recommend her company to anyone needing those type of services.

It is my traditional practice to require a percentage up front and the remainder at job completion. The circumstances on this project - installation date had been pushed back multiple times, you and your husband already living in Florida/no one available to collect payment at job completion - prompted request for payment up front. Absolutely awesome!!! She meet with me learned about me and my 3 boys and what we were looking for....she bought us furniture and decorations and set it all up...she took pics and made special decorations for us.... she made the house just for us my 3 boys absolutely love the house and their rooms... she did everything down to little details and I can't thank her enough for making this house an AWESOME home for us!!! She was on time and very efficient and communicated well even though I was never around... Highly recommend her.... she will make your home for YOU!!! THANKS AGAIN!!! We love our home Jamila

Jamila Martin was awesome to work with. We had a very good rapport and working relationship. She listened to what I wanted, but also took a moment just to look at my home and the things I like. When she came back with samples, it was uncanny how well she had selected things that I loved. My kitchen looks beautiful. She went above and beyond, truly, to make sure I really did like the finished project. As a person who has worked with other decorators, I found Ms. Martin to be more artistic and creative than any other. I give her my heartfelt and unreserved recommendation.

We wanted help with choosing colors to paint our interior. I described our decor and general color preferences over the phone. Jamila arrived with color samples that pretty much hit the mark. She went around the house with both of us discussing possibilities. We ended up with exactly what we wanted - paint samples for each room so we now know exactly what to buy and which walls will be which color. We feel confident that it will turn out great and it will all tie together. She also discussed window treatments that will improve incoming light but still provide privacy in the evening. Jamila is very professional and knowlegable and easy to talk to.

Jamila and I are still working together and I hope to be working with her long term on several projects. Jamilia is without a doubt the finest interior designer I have ever worked with. She has a natural talent to cue in immediately on the exact feeling I wanted -- not just the style. I showed her a few things I liked and she immediately said that I liked depth and dimension which is true. No other designer has been able to put that into words before. She is able to design for me my Northern French Country style with depth and dimension.
Jamilia puts her talents and herself into her design; however, the design is never hers. The design is all about me and what I want yet she is the lead. As far as going above and beyond she gives her very best. She will find the very best quality she can and stay within the budget you give her.
I could to on but suffice it to say I hope Jamilia and I have a long term relationship continually updating our design.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Often I get requests for quotes without ever having set foot in the space to be staged or redesigned. To get the most accurate quote (and to make sure both parties are a good fit for the business relationship), it's best to take the time to meet with designers in the space to discuss the project. Doing so can help minimize costly surprises.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Kitchen, family room, home office and bathroom remodels are quite common. However, I love the opportunity to do something a little different!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
While potential clients are hiring designers for their expertise, listening skills are just as important. Make sure to go with a designer who is really listening to what you want and need in order to ensure a completed project you'll love.
