What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the square foot. This is based on accessibility of the space, complexity of design and materials needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come look at the space and meet with the client. I take measurements and check out the wall surface. I learn about what the client would like and also ask the client to review my past projects and identify which ones they like. From there, I create a quote and send that to the client. The next step is creating a design mock-up. I charge a fee that is then applied to the overall cost of the mural, so this is not an additional charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BFA with a focus in painting, from Miami University. I have been painting professionally for over 20 years.
