My daughter just started lessons this past October, and she absolutely loves it! She finds Mr. Patterson to be very encouraging, and she loves his sense of humor! In just a short time, she has rapidly progressed in her skills, and she really loves playing the piano. We see her confidence growing! She readily goes to practice, and we hear a big difference in her playing each week. He is incredibly flexible with scheduling and does a nice job of giving feedback to families as well. We are incredibly happy with him as our daughter's teacher!

He has been teaching my teenage daughter for about three years. Hands down one of the best teachers I have seen. My daughter has learned so much from him. He does a great job of going beyond the theory (although he is great at this) and teaching the heart and soul of music. If you have a child who is musically inclined and you want a teacher who can really maximize his or her potential, you will be really happy if you choose Daniel as your teacher for your child. He seems capable of teaching a child through the beginning stages of music into the more advanced stages really well.

My son is 14 years old. In less than a year of lessons he was able to perform a few songs for the Indianapolis youth ballet company's Swan Lake during intermission and the ball that followed. Many were shocked at how well he played!! Thanks to Daniel!!!

As a piano teacher, I am committed to motivating students, entertaining students, adding laughter and drama to lessons We don't listen to dull music, we don't watch dull TV shows or movies... ... why should a student have to painfully endure a dull 30 minute lesson?
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for a new music teacher, ask them if they provide a free trial lesson. This allows you to meet the teacher and determine if they are a good fit for your family.
