FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As with anything knowledge-based, you the client need to first identify exactly what you hope to learn. As what I teach is very practical, realistic, and directly focused on dealing with an attack, it would stand to reason that someone looking for a traditional martial arts or fitness focused class would probably not find my instruction to meet their needs. To those who are looking for practical self-defense that's applicable in the real-world, I have a couple of helpful tips: 1. Steer clear of traditional martial arts classes (i.e. Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, kickboxing, etc) as they alone will not teach you useful skills for dealing with a real attack. 2. Be wary of guarantees, as there are none in the real world. This field is full of snake-oil salesman. 3. Research the laws in your state regarding self-defense, any "knowledgeable" instructor should know them as well. I hope this helped.
