FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the complexity of your situation, so we give you a clear quote up front after a free initial consultation. There are no surprise fees. A straightforward individual return costs less than a business return with bookkeeping, and we'll always explain what you're paying for before any work begins. For ongoing clients, we're happy to set predictable pricing so you know what to expect year-round.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a free consultation so we can understand your situation and answer your initial questions. From there we gather the documents we need, review where you stand, and get to work on your return, books, or plan. For clients who want ongoing tax planning, we build a strategy from your history and current numbers, then support you throughout the year so you're never caught off guard at tax time. Clear communication is a priority at every step.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We're a CPA-led practice, which requires extensive education, rigorous exams, and ongoing continuing education to stay current on tax law. As CPAs we hold full IRS representation rights, meaning we can represent you directly before the IRS if a question or notice ever comes up. We stay actively up to date on tax law changes so our clients benefit from current strategies, not outdated ones.
