FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing comes down to three things: your guest count, how many hours you want the bar open, and which of our four packages fits what you’re picturing. The Pour Package starts at $450. Every quote is in writing with the full total, including any travel and gratuity, before you book, so there’s never a surprise line item the night of. Your date is held with a signed agreement and a 50 percent deposit, and the balance is due 14 business days before the event. Want a ballpark first? Our Bar Service Estimator on ****************** gives you a range in about a minute.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a conversation, not a contract. Tell me your date, your headcount and what you’re picturing, even if it’s just “something fun with bourbon.” I’ll ask a few quick questions about the venue, your hours and what you want to pour, then send a written quote the same day. Once you sign and the deposit is in, your date is locked. From there we build the menu, plan the setup and check in before the event to confirm timing. On the day, we arrive about an hour before your guests, run the bar, and break it all down after last call. You just enjoy your own party.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Certified Bourbon Steward and a working bartender with a background in cocktail development, building drink programs for everything from neighborhood bars to large-scale events. I also run a barware business, so I spend a lot of time thinking about the right glass for the right drink. I keep a bank of thousands of tested and verified cocktail recipes, and I’m always learning, from classic technique to molecular mixology. Let’s just say the research is my favorite part.
