Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I travel ANYWHERE. I have no restrictions except for that of YOUR imagination (and mine). I am young, modern and constantly evolving. I can utilize a wide range of styles, from traditional to ultra cutting-edge. I have shot IZOD Indy Drivers to professional models. I am young, healthy and creative. And finally, I strive to make each and every photo unique and incomparable to the next person's. I love the interaction between myself and my clients. I like to get to know the personality of each person I shoot days before the actual session begins. This way, I can capture that feeling of who the individual actually is. But the best part of the whole job is seeing the look on the client's face, whether it be the mother or father or grandparent or student themselves when they see the final product on print. It's never then same, but always heart-warming and rewarding.

Josh was extremely patient and professional when he came to our house to photograph our two boys. He captured their personalities perfectly and we couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out. I continue to recommend J Gillum Photography to all our friends and family and will definitely use Josh again in the future.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most commonly, I find myself capturing either commercial portraits, commissioned portraits for private clients and senior portraits. It is where all of my passion and all of my focus lies. These jobs are a creative challenge for me. So I am always pushed to new limits and studying the latest styles and techniques to overcome these challenges.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would look around. Shop your options. Find someone whom you feel comfortable with not only from a quality of work standpoint, but also on a communication level. Without comfort and communication, you will often times find that your end result is less than expected. Being nervous or uncomfortable shows in photos. The camera never lies. This is why I do all I can to ensure the highest level of comfort (maybe even fun) for every session I shoot.
