Every window in our home had reached a point where it was difficult or impossible to open and shut them. I really didn't want to replace windows, I just wanted these to work. I Googled window repair persons, and Jimmy's Window Repair came up. I read the information provided, which seemed VERY promising, and the 100% five star reviews convinced me to give him a try. I put out an inquiry, and he responded within an hour. I told him what I needed, and sent a few pictures by text, so he could identify the type of windows, and he quickly responded that "he believed he could do the work, and have my windows performing like new". He sent me an estimate of range of cost, which was very reasonable, so we set an appointment for him to come and do the work. I was nervous because it seemed too good to be true, but he came first thing Monday morning (I had contacted him over a holiday week-end). He had given me a half hour window of approximate time that he would be there, and texted when on his way, and arrived just when he said he would. He had all the necessary parts, and completed complete refurbishment of the working parts of ALL my windows (14), in under two hours. He used a towel to rest the window on to protect the floor, and was most careful to protect the windows and surrounding structures. He is the nicest, most friendly person, very knowledgeable and capable, and professional. Before starting his work, he explained what the problem was with the windows, and what needed to be replaced, and that the parts he would be using were of higher quality than the original parts, and much better able to withstand the heat and UV impact of a Florida climate. This meant that we should have a longer period of good, trouble free functioning of the windows. When he was finished, as promised, every window slid open and shut effortlessly - just like new...OR BETTER! He told me that he did not expect me to have any further problems, but if I did, to just call him, and he would come make it right - absolutely guaranteed! I cannot adequately express what an exceptional service he provided. There is an old saying, "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is"! Well, in this case, Jimmy proved that wrong - in a day and age where customer service doesn't exist, and satistaction with service provided is rarely more than average, Jimmy has raised both to an art form. I can not thank him enough for his help, or recommend him highly enough!
