There are few copywriters that nail the customers with just the right words they understand. It takes someone who understands your customer. For example: What is your product about? What is your service about? What is your website about? When those questions are answered by the owner of a business, it may be different than what the answer needs to be. I look at the business/product/service from all sides and bring in the customers that are most likely to buy from my clients. Isn't that what I am supposed to do? - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?All projects, and clients are individual. Each project is detailed as well as my pricing. It can be a ball park figure to quote, but more specifically, it's about what the client wants exactly. When we get to that point of the negotiation, I can pin-point a price usually that is comfortable for both the client and myself.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Every client has special and individual needs. I have a good general set of questions that I ask the client which usually brings out more ideas from the client on how he/she wants their project to look after its finished. This helps me to target just the right angle of work needed to be set up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Whenever I get a chance I keep up with AWAI. They have so many different types of information in my trade, its great training.
