- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I operate on creating a firm quote for the whole project. Most of the time my quotes include Labor & Materials (paint, tape, brushes, roller covers, etc.) Occasionally homeowner supplies paint. Unless there are changes made to the project or unforeseen circumstances, the price quoted is the final price, no hidden surprises. Any additional work performed for a fee is discussed ahead of time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Return their phone call and/or text promptly. Set an appointment at their earliest convenience to see the project. Show up to the appointment on time or early. Provided detailed written estimate for the work to be done. Share information about myself and my work background. Direct them to my profile and my reviews if they haven't already looked at them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I basically apprenticed with my father-in-law for a year.
