"I called the technician last Saturday. They showed up on time as promised. Mark was the technician who showed up with his student. Mark gave me a quote for the repair after running diagnostics. However, he appeared to having a problem to figure out what the problem was. So he kept calling the owner of the company. After talking to the owner, Mark said he wanted to replace the capacitor because his gauge indicated it was bad. His quote was $220. I thought the quote was reasonable and gave ok to proceed. After replacing the capacitor, ac system was still not working. And again, after talking to the owner, he said the compressor was too hot, and he wanted to cool down the compressor by watering with my garden hose; for watering, He wanted to charge $110. I suggested if we could wait until tomorrow morning and turn the ac on later if his diagnosis was correct. I wanted to pay the technician after the ac system is repaired. So I directly talked to the owner of the company; the owner still insisted to get paid immediately even if the ac was not working. The owner said the compressor needed to be "thawed." The owner said he would send the technician without additional charge on Monday if my ac does not work. My ac did not work when I turned it on on the next day. So on Monday, I called the owner to send the technician again, but he said he have to charge $79 again. He hung up the phone call from me. He cashed out my $220 check on the next day, and my ac system is still not working.
Overall, the technician was incompetent to correctly diagnose the problem. And the owner was not up professionalism. I do not recommend this company."
