I recently hired DTS1 to diagnose and fix my Dell laptop. Caliph was friendly, responsive, and flexible. He came to my home to do the service, which was very convenient. My total fee was higher than my original quote, but that was due to the problem being more involved that originally thought; we originally discussed just an assessment and clean up, but we ended up having to reinstall the OS. I thought the fees were reasonable. My only negative was about time: I was not notified of exactly how long the repair would take (over two hours) and he was a little late for our appointment (20-30min, and he did let me know he was running late). But these things were only a minor inconvenience. I was happy that Caliph narrated his work so I understood what he was doing, and that he educated me about preferred technology and recommended software upgrades. Overall, I was happy with my experience with DTS1 and would hire them again.
Before I met Marcus Reed I had been caught in cell phone hell. Phone after phone,all Samsung Galaxy, I purchased had to be returned for one reason or another. My fourth purchase was a Blu Life View. They're a lot cheaper than a Galaxy and for good reason. They aren't any good. But then I gave that same phone to Marcus Reed. He turned a phone that was another disastrous purchase to one of the best phones I've ever had. With every rooted bell and whistle you can think of. At one point I called his work number and 10 pm. to ask a question about the phone. Thinking I'm just going to leave a message. Not only did he pick up but he solved my problem in a matter of seconds. I'm almost 60, which means I've been around long enough to know that it is hard to find a company as dedicated to their customers as IQ Computer Services. Not only do I recommend them, I've decided to stop buying 700 dollar phones that are obsolete a year later. A better idea is to purchase a "Like New" phone from Marcus Reed at IQ and save the five hundred you have left over for something else. And "no" I'm not related to the guy. Do yourself and your wallet a favor. Use IQ Computer Services.
When my girlfriend got her new iPhone. I asked her to borrow it for a day to test it out. She agreed, obviously, cause I got her like that. Later on in the day I dropped her phone right on the screen in a parking lot. These guys were able to fix it WITHIN 2 hours of calling them. My gf never even realized. I never told her either. They definitely saved me a lot trouble!
I had an issue with my laptop where I seemed to have a virus and ads were popping up every time I clicked on something. I wasn't sure what to do about it so I had asked Neel to help me fix it. I called him up one day and he walked me through the process step by step. He made the process very simple and helped me understand what I was doing. He definitely has the knowledge and skills needed for technical issues. I would recommend him to anyone having computer issues!
I went to get a broken home button fixed on an iPhone 5 and the technician replaced the button at a reasonable price, far below what the Apple store 'genius bar' quoted. But the phone which was working to that point, would not come on. I was not too optimistic at this point and thought it was a lost cause but the technician called his manager and they assured me the would get to the bottom of it and fix it, whatever it took. It was up and down for a whole day and at one point they planned to replace the mother board, but ultimately a third technician figured out and fixed the problem. I did not loose any data and at no point was I told it would cost extra. I give them 5 stars for customer service but will rate @ 4 for this service overall because of the complications that perhaps could have been avoided. I would certainly go there again.
Tuvy was great! He was super helpful in answering all of my questions about getting my device repaired and very quick to respond to both email & text message communication. He offered several different options to repair my device with great explanation about all of them. Once we made a decision, he was able to schedule the repair quickly and was flexible to come pick up and return the device to accommodate my schedule. The repair was done quickly and the phone looks like new! Great work, great communication, & very responsive! I had to stop my car rapidly and my drink spilled onto my computer case. Somehow, the water found it's way to the screen which now looked like a lava lamp. Andreas went over the possible outcomes and costs involved upfront. He actually wanted to try and see if he could just clean the LCD screen. If that did not work, he would have to replace the screen. Today, very few people will try to save you money and just jump to the easiest fix and not care about the cost. Andreas actually cares!!! Turns out, he had to replace the screen as he told me. The costs were very inexpensive compared to others in the laptop repair service community. Andreas kept me abreast of the situation when parts were ordered, came in and when the computer was ready. He was organized, friendly, efficient, went beyond the call of duty. He service was outstanding and his prices were even better. Thanks to Andreas, my laptop is just as good as the day I bought it. I would HIGHLY recommend Andreas for his professional and friendly service!!!
I recently had a issue with my speakers on my computer not been able to play any sound. I tried to google the problem but after hours of trying to fix the problem I gave up. I called the geek squad and explained to me that I was one month out of my warranty. I asked what I would have to do to get the problem fixed. They explained to me that I would have to pay a diagnostic fee to look at my laptop and then I would have to wait a few days until the tech could look at it and get back to me. I told them that that was my laptop for work and I needed to be fixed that day. Tech told me that it would be at least 24-48 hours. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. I tried to call around to other place but to no avail. Finally a friend told me about this new up and coming business called BSS. So I gave them a call and what do you know a few hours later my audio was finally back!!! They were so professional and very patient with me. But even better they were very affordable! I would recommend them to any and everyone that may have any problems with their electronics because they will get the job done effectively and efficiently! I can't thank Bogues Simple Solutions enough!!!!
Recently, I started a new job and was looking for a computer to fit all of my wants and needs. All of the computers in the store are over priced and cheaply made. I then decided to have a custom computer built for me. I started asking around and someone recommended PC Salvage. After I contacted Rick and set up an appointment, he was very helpful and attentive to all my needs. He showed me how to work everything while being very knowledgeable about all the products. I also had questions about what Internet provider to choose and what to do about a router. I ended up choosing Verizon Fios and buying my own personal router, best decision I ever made! The routers they provide are way over priced and you can't customize any of your settings. He set everything up for me and showed me how to use everything. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I will be going back for any future computer and internet related issues!
Kevin Phillips came out in the rain to fix our Ultra notebook computer and iPhone tonight. A pretty long drive in the rain. He did a great job, was very professional and did the work in our home at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Wullf's Worx!! I think this computer shop is great, met these guys passing flyers at silver spring metro and told me they can fix my cell phone cracked screen and will give me 10% off. I have a iPhone 5s that i dropped while I was running down stairs. It was shattered completely, i went to various repair shops but all were very expensive, hell i can order the part and install it but i don't feel comfortable opening my phone up that cost me $300. Any-who, I left it at the shop with Zeid, he ordered the part within 2 days it has arrived, he text me to let me know and installed it same day. I was impressed with his service and the price of $100 was very affordable being a dad with 3 kids. I was impressed with the service. I would use his services again if I have a problem.

I'm in my 90's. I know a little about the computer, like solitaire and emails and can write some things I need to remember, but it always scared me to use it because I was afraid something would go wrong. And it did---too often. Then I got in touch with CompuCell. Life is improving. Paul came a couple of times to get me out of a jam. He didn't just correct the problem but helped me learn how such things happen. And sometime I just call and he can straighten things out on the phone. I've had a flip-open cell phone for over 10 years. Carried it for emergencies, never turned it on. Paul talked about cell phones and came up with one I could use for a while to try. I always envied people with modern cell phones but never thought I could use one. I'm learning! And fearfully enjoying it. Paul spent about 45 minutes with me to start. He's a good teacher and I'm a scared student. I can send text messages, use the phone, the camera, and a few apps I'm getting familiar with. I will need another one or two lessons to move on. What impressed me about Maria was her painstaking attention to detail. She thoroughly researched my model (Samsung Series 7 gamer) and had learned as much as she could about it before I showed up. She then spent literally 8 hours disassembling my laptop down to the motherboard, painstakingly removing every individual recalcitrant tiny screw and pinhead-sized connector, before wiping off the old thermal paste on top of the CPU and GPA and applying new thermal paste to bond the chips better to their heat sinks. She then proceeded to clean not just the fan but EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, inside and outside the case to a high degree of polish. I doubt the computer looked that good when I bought it. My computer was a rare gamer model that is very complex, has little documentation, and - as far as I could find - no YouTube geek videos on how to take it apart. It is no longer even supported by the manufacturer. It takes far more-than-your-average computer tech guy/gal to deal with it, because it requires original problem-solving every step of the way. After putting it all back together, the computer worked (always a good thing!). It turned out the problem I had was not just heating inside the case, but a semi-broken power brick, which I also had to replace. But, in the end, I got my fps back up to 100 (previously fluctuating wildly between 13 and 90). I spent $100 and saved $2000 on a new gaming laptop. Maria provided a screaming deal, in terms of value delivered for money spent.

Accidently my left my iphone on top of my car and drove to work. A Good Samaritan found the phone blocks away from my home in the side of the road, answered when I called and returned it to me, but the screen was completely crushed. It looked like a car ran over it and permanently ruined it, but I had a flyer from RefuGeek and thought I would give them a try. So glad I did. They picked up the phone that evening and returned it to me the next day looking brand new and working perfectly. Convenience, price, timeliness and quality what more could I ask for.
