Elin and Kris are great. I started about only 2 months ago and the results I have seen have the best I have ever had ever. I have been through countless trainers and group classes and the amount of attention they give and the way they are able to gradually work your entire body out without sacrificing quality is the best I have ever seen. It is an experience you have to go through with patience to believe. Very hard to explain as the results are unreal. Very unique methodology. To date, they have exceeded my expectations, and look forward to more sessions as they have sold me not only on their methods, but more importantly on the lifestyle. Lastly I will say, Elin is impeccable in terms of following up. He really cares about his clients. Kris is the best trainer I have ever had as he genuinely cares about you and shows up with a smile day in and day out. He was so great, I referred him to my future sister in law before her big day! I can't speak highly enough about these guys. They are the real deal!

FALCON is ABSOLUTELY above and beyond the usual security training. Instructors combine practical applications with real-world experiences. Training was thorough and tailored to individual learning styles. Courses focus on real scenarios and best security practices. Basic through advanced classes offered for every level.

Cornelius is AMAZING. He is a great personal trainer. He pushes you and gives you a great workout. He is super friendly and not judgmental at all--you work at your pace. I have been training with him for the past month and a half and I love it. I have seen changes in my body and have gained a lot of strength. He cares about you and constantly asks how you are feeling. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. If you're considering getting a personal trainer, definitely go for Cornelius. This was my first time doing something like this and I can say these have been the best workouts I've ever had (much better than group classes that don't focus on you). It's an investment, but a really great one.

I took 10 self-defense classes with Anthony and it was an amazing learning experience and workout. He took the time to make sure all our techniques were solid and then built on that, regardless of skill level. He let the class run away with the fun occasionally but other than that, his classes were everything I was hoping for.

The atmosphere was very flexible and comfortable. The course is designed to meet the needs of the students, and the instructor is always adapting to the needs of each student. You can freely ask question, practice what you want, and ask for help when you need it.

I have trained under Sensei Zurriane Bennett for 8 years. Through out this time i have been continually impressed with his teaching ability. The training at this Dojo is very practical and Sensei is able to draw from his considerable experience to keep everything in perspective. The environment is also welcoming, comfortable, and conducive to serious training at the same time. I have also trained in Tae Qwon Do, boxing, wrestling, Judo, and Aikido but SYBCG stands out in my experience as the most well rounded, enjoyable, and beneficial of my martial arts experiences.

I know Alex for couple years as a talented and skilled martial arts professional and also a great fitness instructor. Both self and my son are trained by him at Master Lee's Martial Arts Taekwondo school of Sterling,VA. We are very happy we met him so he explained and helped a lot to be well-trained and feel much better about many things. He always provides easy to follow techniques with related explanations, advises and hand-on demonstratoinons. Greatly recommended! Outstanding instructor/professional!

Joshua is a phenomenal teacher and fighter of BJJ, Kickboxing and MMA. He tailors to your specific strengths and weaknesses, so that you get maximum value out of each class. He focuses on technique, fighting concepts, conditioning all the while ensuring you have fun during the process. Learning is everything here and he encourages self-filming or bringing in a partner to train with at no extra charge. The gym in a good shape, with all the necessary equipment and padding you would associate with MMA gyms. Joshua is constantly making improvements to the gym to keep it competitive and in good condition. He has many different types of classes and he is very flexible. It is no wonder why he has such a following, his knowledge and sincerity is rare in this industry.

Positive Impact Martial Arts is exactly that. An extremely positive and professional environment with experienced and encouraging instructors teaching modern and traditional martial arts. All instructors promote good health and a positive attitude at all times. I told them my desires from the class and received them. I was challenged to meet my goals and was given encouragement as I climbed the ladder. It’s awesome, they have classes for adults and kids! You may have the option to train with your child! This is definitely the place to train and there is always something new to learn in class or in one of the seminars.

Exciting stuff, Christan is an awesome teacher, and everyone has an all around fun time! I've been attending Arudel Aikikai classes for about three years now, and for one, I can say my confidence has definitely increased. If you don't at least give this class a try, you're missing for sure!

Brown's karate provides excellent instruction in the martial arts. I am over fifty years old and haven't been in better shape since I was in college. I started a little over four years ago and plan to continue for a very long time. You won't find a program lead by a more committed person dedicated to providing affordable and quality classes.

I would highly recommend Baltimore Martial Arts Academy for many reasons and from a couple different view points. As a student - Gary Berger and his staff are experts instructors not only in martial arts but fitness of both mind and body. I have been in the military for 21 years, have lived all over the world and have never seen a gym with so many different courses of instruction. Such a wide array and blending of talent is hard to find and almost impossible in a single school. Patient and professional - I have found these instructors to look at the individual and tailor classes to student needs and goals. The plethora of instructors is simply amazing. I have 3 Aikido instructors my son has 5 different jujitsu instructors and my daughter has 2 different kickboxing instructors - getting all of there collective strengths and experiences - class never gets boring or routine.  As a father - I have two teenagers attending Baltimore Martial Arts Academy and can not imagine a better environment for an extracurricular activity. My Son has attained his black belt in mixed martial arts and is working on belts in both judo and straight jujitsu. He is on the competition team and has competed nationally in numerous grappling and judo competitions - qualifying this year for the judo junior nationals this summer. It has been a great outlet for teenage aggression for both kids and has shown them a positive way to harness energy that would be otherwise wasted. His skills will serve him well in high school as he plays football and wrestles. My Daughter is working on a belt in mixed martial arts and taking kickboxing classes. Not the competitor her brother is I have found the discipline and fitness she is learning will carry on through her entire life. As a father it is good to know that my daughter can defend herself and walks with a confidence that she may otherwise have not found. My children are the most important thing in my life and my greatest legacy - I feel blessed to have found this gym with such a large group of both male and female role models to help me raise my children and instill the values we all find so lacking in the world today. It is refreshing to find a place where integrity, honor, respect and discipline are not only preached but taught, practiced and expected. All in all I was lucky or destined to find Baltimore Martial Arts Academy. I have found a family that cares about me and my families well being. I hope all of you are as lucky. Justin D. Pyle

Excellent instruction. Mr A has worked hard to help me improve my skill in karate. Always a great class, fun and hard and designed to push me and help me to achieve the goals I've set for myself. At whatever level you are at, if you want to get better, then Mr A should be your first choice!

I've been working with Mr. Andy for almost 8 years since I started taekwondo. He's an amazing instructor. He really knows what he's doing and pays attention to little details. He never misses a class and is always either on time or there before anyone. Mr. Andy pushes me to my limits and then some so I always do better than my goal. He's been a great mentor and an awesome teacher.

We offer a system of self-defense that will give you the confidence to stand up for yourself and defend yourself if needed. In our experience, more confidence actually leads to fewer fights because you will no longer be seen as a target. An intense class can not only burn up to 800 calories, but will strengthen muscles and increase flexibility at the same time. It is a fun environment to get in the best shape of your life and learn self-defense.

Burak helped me fulfill my EMT job's physical requirements. To qualify for the position, I needed to be able to lift 130 pounds and run a 8 min mile. I was pressed for time, and needed results quick! He tailored each 1 hour personal training session to ensure my goals would be met asap. In just 10 one hour sessions over 3 weeks, I met my goal! 😊 His training style worked well with me, a great mix of encouragement and drive to push me beyond my limits. In addition to the attention and guidance I received from Burak during the sessions, he also developed a comprehensive workout schedule for the days I wasn't meeting with him. This combination of personal training sessions along with the workout schedule allowed me to reach my goals sooner than I would have alone.

I regularly attended two of John "Bones" Shaddock classes. They were intense, but not so much so that I couldn't catch on or get any benefit--I'm 45. I then moved into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with him. I had been to several gyms before, but I only started learning it when I worked with "Bones". He was able to work with me for a program to suit my needs and schedule. His prices for classes and individual instruction are more reasonable than any in the Reisterstown area. I highly recommend the Shaddock Mixed Martial Arts Academy.
