FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Empire Elite & Co, our recommendations and pricing are based on the conditions observed during our inspection, the scope of work involved, current code requirements, materials, labor, and the expertise of our licensed electricians. Our pricing is not based on handyman rates; it reflects the advanced knowledge, extensive training, years of experience, and accountability that come with professional electrical work performed by skilled, licensed electricians. Our team includes an highly experienced electrician who is committed to delivering safe, code- compliant, and reliable solutions. Electrical contractors may offer different pricing, recommendations, or approaches to the same project. A lower price does not necessarily mean the work is equivalent, just as a higher price does not automatically mean additional work is required. Our goal is to provide honest, safety-focused recommendations and quality workmanship on every project! Under any circumstance we do not offer cancellation refunds and all invoices are final.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Recently Installed Work: If electrical equipment or installations appear to have been recently completed by another contractor, Empire Elite & Co. may recommend that the customer first contact the original installer before repairs or modifications are performed. Empire Elite & Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or postpone repairs or alterations to recently installed work performed by others. Inspection Scope Written Estimates Only Prices, estimates, bids, and proposals are valid only when provided in writing. Verbal discussions are informational only and do not constitute a quote or contract. Professional Judgment Inspection findings and recommendations are based on the professional judgment of Empire Elite & Co. at the time of inspection. Another contractor may reach a different conclusion, and a difference of professional opinion does not by itself establish that either opinion is incorrect. Existing Work by Others Empire Elite & Co. is not responsible for the workmanship, code compliance, or condition of work previously performed by others. We reserve the right to decline or postpone work on recently installed systems performed by another contractor. No Repairs Performed Unless specifically authorized in a separate written agreement, no repairs, alterations, or installations are performed during an inspection-only appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My electrical experience comes from both hands on training and generations of family experience in the trade. My grandfather was a master electrician and electrical inspector who taught me the foundations of electrical work, safety, and doing jobs the right way from a young age. With multiple family members also working as electricians, I grew up around the trade and continued building my knowledge through real-world experience in residential and commercial electrical work. At Empire Elite & Co, we stay current with electrical codes, safety standards, and modern electrical systems to ensure every project is completed professionally, safely, and up to code. We take pride in bringing over 38 years of combined trade experience and knowledge to our customers.
