FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on size of the home, how many bedrooms, how many bathrooms, how many pets, do you want stove and/or refrigerator cleaned out.It is also based on distance from my business to cleaning destination. Anything over 20 miles there is a .32 cents per mile adjustment made. the customer will know about all pricing prior to the job being agreed upon.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer I always call them by phone to set up a time when I can meet with them to take a look at their home and to discuss the details of the house cleaning process.I want to know what their expectations are, and I want to do my very best to meet those expectations. I explain my cleaning process, and let them know what kind of cleaning products I use as some people, children, and pets are allergic to some products. If I see areas of concern such as peeling paint, mold, leaks of any kind, or anything that I feel might be a hazard I notify the owner immediately.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Believe it or not I was just sitting one day after I had retired from nursing and got very bored so I thought "What could I do to make money that I can work whenever I want, and I could set my own hours and days, and at my own pace? For some reason cleaning houses came to mind".
