- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was helping people on a volunteer basis through my church and realized there was a market so I decided to try to make a profession out of it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Travel with or meet clients at doctors appointments to translate/interpret. Or assist them with various tasks. Interpret for attorneys or courts, or hospitals. If needed for the same price I will provide other as needed services not related to translation or interpreting. Clients have asked me to take them shopping or to doctors appointments with no need for language services and I have changed the same. I contract by the hour with a two hour minimum.
