The Smithville ATA Karate for Kids School provides the following programs: The Smithville ATA Karate for Kids school has two programs: Basic and Leadership. The basic plan was developed to teach fundamental martial arts building blocks: * blocks * stances * kicks * strikes The program is focused on life skills and physical fitness development: * discipline * confidence * respect * self-control * focus The leadership program was developed to the same features as the basic program, but it also trains the student on essential leadership skills. The students in the leadership program have set a long-term objective to become a 1st-degree black belt. They're also training to become future instructors and leaders.
