It was a real pleasure working with Ray. He was respectful and professional from the very beginning, as well as eager to get started with the job right away. He offered great ideas about how to improve the space he was working with using his beautiful cabinetry skills. By the time the job was completed, Ray had transformed our family room. I believe I was most impressed with Ray's attention to detail and his effort to attain the highest quality of work. I would highly recommend Ray for any cabinet job.

Ray built me the kitchen I had "in my head". It's perfect. He was flexible and patient as we worked through the design. When I saw ideas on Pinterest or Houzz, I sent them to him and he always said "Yes, I can build that." I have a well built, custom kitchen for a fraction of what other designers/contractors/big box stores would cost ... hidden microwave cabinet, custom broom cabinet, custom shelving for 9 x 13 pans, platters and cookie sheets, pull out vegetable baskets, hidden towel storage, hidden trash, extra deep upper cabinets for large plates. Do yourself a favor and let him build it. I like his kitchen cabinets better than the Martha Stewart cabinets from Home Depot that we used in a different part of the house. There is nothing wrong with the Martha Stewart cabinets, they too are well made and gorgeous ... they were also significantly more expensive than Ray's and the design process at Home Depot was more cumbersome.
He was willing to come to my house on weekends and in snow. He even made a second trip on Mother's day just to let me re-check the color. Re-check. I had already approved it, then got nervous and wanted another look.
We have done quite a few projects in this house: basement galley kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a complete gut and rebuild of the master bedroom and bath. I am a seasoned DIYer and remodel person. I know when someone is trying to make a job easier for themselves instead of perfect for you. I would hire Ray again in a heartbeat. He is by far the most conscientious worker we have had in our house.

We LOVE our new island! Ray was very easy to work with and helped us design our island. We love the soft close drawers and pull out trash/recycling drawer. He picked up the exact drawer pulls to match our existing hardware. We couldn’t be happier with the final product.

I have been able to out bid the competition. I will work with the customer to help keep them on budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go to the customers home and work with them on the concept of their project. I share ideas that would help them arrive at a decision. Depending on the project, I usually take samples of my work. I then take the information back with me, work on an estimate and send it via email to the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I periodically attend seminars hosted by suppliers ranging from tile through cabinet innovations and trends. I have also attended concrete stamping and countertop seminars.
