- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide a transparent and detailed breakdown of all my pricing for all jobs. I do require a deposit upfront that is based on the percentage of the entire project for larger projects. For small jobs lasting less than a day pay is due at the time of completion. For larger jobs lasting longer than I week I will submit invoices weekly and expect weekly progress payments throught the job, based on a agreed upon percentage since the previous pay period.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide consultation, which includes meeting with the client to discuss the scope of work, provide estimates, and timeline. Once we have established the full scope of work, I will provide a written agreement for the Customer to sign and establish a start date. Depending on the time line of project I will bill weekly based on work completed and the established price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my B.S. in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University. I have spent the last 12 years working in construction in various roles, mostly in project engineering, project management and estimating. I am OSHA-30 certified and have done many projects on my own home.
