- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $125 an hour and a second photographer at the additional rate of $25/hour. I offer special discounts throughout the year, as well. Payment plans are also available, to help with budgeting needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An important aspect of my photography is telling your story, so there will be a discussion to ensure that the photos truly capture you and your event, moment, etc. For events, such as weddings, I meet with my new customer(s) for a consultation. Once a decision is made to book, I require a minimum 10% down payment and signed contract to hold the date. For all other types of photos, we will discuss the details by phone, such as locations, time and ideas.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done photography for over 20 years, first as a hobby and then as a professional. I have done all types of photography. In addition, I have taught journalism and photography as a school advisor for both school newspapers and yearbooks, for close to 20 years.
