I hired Conrad to file for a divorce. He took my money and then did nothing for 10 months. 3 months after I fired him he finally gave me a bill. I had to hire another attorney and start all over again. The new attorney ask him for his files but he sent NONE to them. He doesn't do divorce that I know of and he seems to have no knowledge of the divorce process. All he could do was hand me papers and say "fill them out the best you can". Here's where he shows his true character, Conrad exaggerated his bill to keep most of my retainer. He lied. I have a complaint filed with the Kansas State Bar. Unfortunately, the Bar doesn't resolve billing disputes. He literally stole from me. Hopefully the Bar finds the other issues enough to reprimand him. By the way, he charged me $350 an hour for everything after giving me 3 rates. Not the $200. He doesn't have the staff for 3 rates.

I would also rate Professionalism if I were allowed to choose more than 3 categories. Punctuality was not applicable as this was all done virtually. Conrad reviewed my closing documents swiftly, followed up if I missed responding to my title company, and gave great advice. My closing was straight-forward, but I felt confident approaching it with him on my side to verify I wasn't missing a critical step in the for sale by owner process.
