- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A very basic pricing structure for my services in photography can be found on my website at hensleyworks.com. The prices I quote on this platform may vary from those listed there due to the unique nature of Thumbtack and the ability provided to alter quotes based on the information provided by the prospective client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step in working with a new customer is to let them know we will be collaborating in order to create beautiful photographs, specific to their needs, and of which they can be proud. The customer explains to me the purpose of the photographs; the reason why they are desired. Together we will decide where the photographs will be taken, considering what locations best suit the customer’s purpose. A similar discussion follows when we discuss the appropriate clothing, style, props, and attitude of the shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied and earned degrees and certificates in art, business, and information technology. I have been a business owner, photographer, artist, contractor, shelf stocker, salesman, electronics technician, sailor, laborer, and more. However, my first love has always been the art and process of creating and capturing images. During all my experiences I have utilized my talents in photography, drawing, and painting to create images that are meaningful to me, to my family and friends, and to clients.
