We are a husband and wife team offering wedding photography, videography and DJ services in the Kansas City, Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas areas. We are very experienced, dependable and we have all of the professional-level gear necessary to provide very high-quality photos and video. And we will work very hard to make sure you have a seamless and memorable day and incredible photos and videos that you can cherish for years. We hired Sheridan Photography for our maternity/ family photos as we await the birth of our second son. Our experience with them was fantastic from start to finish.
From the get-go I knew it would be a seamless experience working with them. Amy responded to my inquiry right away and suggested dates and times that made it easy for me to schedule the session. We knew we wanted an outdoor meadow shoot, but didn't have a specific location in mind. Amy took the guesswork out of it by recommending a nearby nature park that ended up being absolutely perfect for what we had imagined.
When we arrived for our session, Amy and Chris were so personable that we immediately felt comfortable with them. The entire shoot was so relaxed it felt like hanging out with friends. They had a few different scenes picked out and a great eye for using the evening sun to our favor. Their styles complemented each other so we got a variety of images and poses.
We received the photos even earlier than expected and they far surpassed our expectations! I can't stop looking at them!! The best part is that their packages are flexible and prices reasonable. I highly recommend Sheridan Photography to anybody in the KC area! You won't be disappointed!

We got our pictures back much quicker than we anticipated! While looking through them I started thinking about pictures I didn’t request and they still got them! I love all of our pictures! They gave us exactly what we asked for, what they stated in our contract, and more!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Portrait sessions start at $250. Weddings start at $1250. But it's not a one size fits all approach, we try to match our pricing to the project. We offer discounts for shooting both photo and video and we are willing to travel up to 50 miles without a travel fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to chat on the phone or have a video chat, get to know the client and figure out the details of their event or project. We like to find the the special things that make a brides day or a clients project unique. And we are always up for meeting up at one of KC's great coffee shops!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both of us are lifelong photographers. Chris graduated from the University of Kansas with a Film Studies degree and Amy has taken many photography and photo-editing classes at JCCC and online.
