Thumbtack Best of 2015 I am extremely detail oriented. Each massage is specifically tailored to each client, and every client's massage may be different each time they see me. I always tell people that I have magical hands because I can tell where problems are with very little touch, and through my training in reflexology. I am constantly studying up on new methods, plans of attack for all sorts of ailments. The human body is an amazing thing and I always make sure I treat it with respect and in the end, have the person inside of it feeling healed, healthy and happy. The opportunity to help people. It is an extremely rewarding career. I love helping people because it is just so good for the soul.

I was in the KC for a month doing fairly physical work. I was excited to find someone who was willing to travel because I didn't know the area. Elissa arrived like a massage ninja with all her professional gear. I have Aspergers, so I am not always into too much touch, but Elissa made me feel comfortable pretty quickly. I am also not great at being aware enough of body to even attempt to communicate what is bothering me. Elissa seemed to have some kind of mad Yoda like skills that allowed her to zero in on the exact areas that were bothering me that day without me saying a word. This was really helpful for me, and it helped me relax more. I can't imagine that you can find anyone better in the entire region. I am not sure I can find anyone to compare in the entire northeast where I live. I cannot recommend Elissa enough. It is rare to find people that clearly love what they do, that are always working to improve their craft despite already being excellent at it. The experience has helped me begin to feel more comfortable in my own skin, you can't really put a price on that. If you live in KC area, then you are lucky enough to work with such a great person and massage therapist. Thank you!

It has been far too long since my last massage but in spite of that I am feeling awesome right now... My back has some flexibility. Elissa gives one of the best therapeutic massages I have had. I recommend her to everyone.

Elissa came to our home and gave us each a massage and we both were very happy with it. She is very thorough and really knows what she is doing. This is hard to put in the right words, but during the massage I had the thought that I was very in tune with my body and I had never realized my muscles and tissues could move the way they did during the massage. I felt knots in my body I didn't previously know were there and I am sure they contribute to the stiffness I feel at times. We each had a 45 minute relaxing message and it was wonderful. The cost was very reasonable. We will definitely be calling her again.
