I hired Tri-State Painting & Power Washing to perform work on my four bedroom house in Villa Hills KY. The exterior of my house needed painting after several years of weathering. After power washing my house, sanding areas of need on the exterior of the siding, priming and painting the house with two coats of Sherman Williams paint, my house looked new again. They undertook the exterior wood repair and replacement needs of the house, particularly around some of my windows, prior to painting, with very good results. I was pleased with their timeliness, willingness to please and discuss issues with me, and their reasonable pricing for all the work. March 23, 2026 Letter of Recommendation for Bryan Pankake As background, Bryan is an exterior and interior painting professional who has been in business for 25 plus years. He operated successful businesses in Detroit, Michigan (his original hometown) and Florida until moving to Kentucky about three years ago. I engaged Bryan to remediate decaying wood and then to paint my external three-car carport and garage and storage buildings in 2024. Bryan undertook this work and was outstanding with his spray painting equipment, paint brush, rollers and other tools to complete this project in less than a week. The work included power wash, sanding, applying primer, and two coats of top quality paint. His work was outstanding, and as of today the carport, garage and storage buildings still look excellent. In 2025, my large finished basement flooded due to a broken water pipe. Bryan helped mitigate the water damage and afterwards replaced insulation, drywall, baseboard, trim, etc. as appropriate. Afterwards, he professional painted the basement area with primer, two coats of premium paint, as well as used his carpenter skills to replace the baseboard and other water-damaged wood. Again, this work was done in a timely and professional manner. Importantly, after the work was completed, Bryan immaculately cleaned up the basement debris. In 2026, my family and I faced another issue – a crack in a solid concrete wall of our basement caused the Family Room area inside the house to suffer damage. Multiple drywall cracks occurred on the interior wall of the Family Room, and some window molding and baseboard trim experienced some cracks and joint movement. We called Bryan, and he was there in a few days. Bryan once again applied his professional painting skills and his wood work talents to restore the Family Room to its prior excellent condition. My wife and I will continue to use Bryan Pankake for all of our painting and related needs.
