When hiring a DJ/emcee, as with and vendor, experience is of the utmost importance. There are many with modern sound systems and extensive libraries. But if they do not have time spent as part of their resume, they may not have the knowledge and ability to provide a memorable experience. Think of it this way... if you hire someone to bake you a cake, they may have all the best ingredients and utensils... but if they don't have the experience to mix and present their product, there may be a good chance you won't get what you paid for. The same holds true when hiring a DJ/emcee. Look for someone that not only has the right equipment and library, but someone that has the experience to mix the music and present themselves in a professional manner.
