This past June, Ranada catered our Union Celebration. We had a group gathering at the farm before the church ceremony, and then a reception at the church afterwards. I was able to just "enjoy" the whole day. The food at the farm was perfect with beverages. Then at the reception afterwards, it was just a work of art, would be the only way I can describe it. All our guests were very impressed, well fed, and taken care of. I loved how Ranada helped me "plan" the menu, with her experience, we were able to ascertain the perfect quantities. She took all guesswork out of all the decisions, all the way to wine choices. She had the whole day very well staffed with very professional and helpful staff. I will always choose the "Food Guru!" and I highly recommend her if: You want great food; great price; happy guests, and want to just enjoy your even and not worry!

Ranada always does a superb job. She goes above and beyond what you would expect. Every time I have worked with her she adds something extra, like cookie bars or cake, just to make our volunteers and artists feel special. She is also very creative in her cooking and every dish is unique. I cannot recommend her enough!

Chef Ranada and her staff catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Sometimes wedding food can be bland and ordinary, but Ranada's meals were excellent and left all of our guests telling us how great it was. We will forever be grateful for the service and thoughtfulness that she put into our events. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but thanks to Chef Ranada, we didn't have to worry about anything involving the catering. We will use her again and again for all of our future events! Thanks Chef!

I cant thank Ranada enough! She made our wedding reception a big success. All of our guests and my husband and I really enjoyed the food her and her team prepared of us. Not only was the food tasty but the presentation was aesthetically pleasing as well. The Food Guru did a wonderful job tending to our guests needs and having everything prepared on time. I do not have 1 bad thing to say, we were very impressed and would hiring them for any future events!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have my prices on my banquet package. We are very up front about our pricing with no hidden fees or tacking on additional expenses. We are extremely affordable and easy to work with.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process would be making the initial contact with me via Thumbtack. I will respond by email with our banquet packet. We can then set up a time to meet and schedule a tasting if the client would like. After meeting, I can then send a proposal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am often reading and investigating and trying new things. I have mentors in this field that I still learn from for the more elegant and large weddings that require sculptures and such. I have been in this business for over 18 years with a stunning portfolio and incredible references.
