As a single woman I never know if an auto mechanic, HVAC expert or plumber is exploiting me, okay? It's like since I moved to KY I have a bullseye target on my forehead. This guy was straightforward, kind. Punctual. Knew what he was doing. He was easy enough to make a joke or two. He gave it to me straight, that my oven's main control board was out. I didn't want to pay $400 but neither did I want a nonworking oven. That oven's worked for 8 years so I figure I'm ready for it to go wonky, right? The other Thumbtack pro I hired never showed up so this guy took his place and was wonderful. Plus he gave me some good, free advice about my circuit breakers. He deserves a lot of praise. I'm glad I hired Sam and I'd bloody well do it again.

They were the first to reach out and proactively called me. The job turned out to be a little more difficult than expected as another leak was discovered due to the tech being careful but nothing to do with his original repair. He stayed late to get the full job done.
