Ben was awesome to work with. He was very prompt, replied professionally and quickly to emails and scheduled flexibly. We were incredibly impressed with the work done by Footprints Floors at our home in Louisville. After having the carpet removed, we discovered some highly unusual "remodeling" work done in haste from the home's past, damaged wood, but what seemed to be a potentially salvageable hardwood situation.Footprints was quick to respond, and thorough in their assessment of what needed to be done. We were thankful to learn that our red oak floor, mostly in reasonable condition, could be saved.We felt the price was reasonable, and appreciated the quality and frequency of communication from Brian and the team.The work itself was extraordinarily good, blending in new wood with old virtually seamlessly to the degree that it's hard to believe the wood ever looked differently. The final finish and quality is excellent.At the end of the job, a minor detail (not a mistake on Footprints' part really, but a miscommunication about the door threshold) was evaluated quickly and corrected.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to meet the customer at their property to measure and discuss the best flooring choices. We will send an estimate to the customer quickly and competitively.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Install, sand and finish new hardwood and all existing hardwood. Stain new floors and old floors to match. Install new or refinish treads and risers on stairs. Help select and install new tile or vinyl floors. Natural stone and tile installation. Move furniture, appliances and plumbing. Remove/dispose of the existing floor. Remove/return baseboards and furniture.
