The customers this woman has don't go back to check her work. She claims she moves the stuff on dressers and countertops to clean, yet she does not. I thought from the previous reviews on her that she would be amazing. WRONG! She doesn't tell the truth and she doesn't do the job that you ask her to. When I filled out the requirements, I put how much of a stickler I am. I put everything on dressers, and countertops, cleaned mirrors and glass top tables, and dusted chairs in the kitchen and dining room. No swifter's for dusting or mopping. She knew what I wanted when she answered the ad and wrote to me that this wasn't a problem and that she would double-check with me when she arrived. I was ill; therefore, my husband took over. I told him she knew what I expected since I filled out the paperwork. Who comes into a woman's home and leaves things by the garbage can that was missed being put into the can? Who leaves rugs pushed up against a toilet and doesn't vacuum the bathroom or wipe down the glass shower door? She left items on the dresser and didn't move them, and she didn't wipe down the shelf or jewelry box or TV, lamps, or anything. She half-butt-did the bedrooms. In the kitchen, she left the lamp over the table dirty not wiped with Windex. The canister still had items that were behind them in the beginning when she left. Bookshelf, she did two out of 5 shelves and for those two that she did dust, she dusted around them. I don't know what she used to mop the floors in the foyer and bathroom, but as soon as you hit the rug you slid and fell. Also, the mat under my office chair did the same thing if you're in socks you slipped and fell. But what made me furious was that she violated my trust and came in to take photos of my home and rooms. Without asking. She said I'm a business and I'm allowed to. I said I'm a Paralegal and you are not allowed to without my consent. You violated the trust between me and you and Thumbtack and I'll file a complaint. And will file a complaint with the courts. She never introduced herself. She claims now she has filed a complaint against me. For what that I question your responsibility to a customer who has a contract with you and Thumbtack. As a customer, I was upfront with my request, and she said I asked for a basic cleaning. I never did. I'm old fashion. I pay you a good price for your time cleaning and supplies except the vacuum I provide. You come in and don't do what you're hired for. Cleaning is moving things on dressers and bedside tables and coffee tables and couch tables, wine racks that are a part of a cabinet in the kitchen should be dusted. You are already in there cleaning, and you can't take a wet rag and run through the slits of the wooden rack. Wipe down appliances especially the light over a table that is so low you can hit your head on it and you can't wipe it and you call the request a deep cleaning. Mirrors are cloudy. Its a nightmare. We finally got tired of taking photos for the complaint and started cleaning ourselves. When trying to file a complaint you call the number and then they SMS you and then you are disconnected and have to start all over again. This just isn't worth the hassle. I pray that this will help future customers for Christian Cleaning and that she will improve or get out of the business. I put myself through college cleaning the home in the 80's and I had to do baseboards ironing and windows all for $115.00, she got paid $135. for just showing up. Shame on her, whoever she is.
