- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a Social Worker by education but a mother first. As the owner of November's Services I chose a housekeeping company to give me the flexibility to tend to my family everyday while still making an income.I decided housekeeping because I love to clean my own home. I love having everything clean when my husband enters from work everyday. It also makes our home smell wonderful and is safe for our children. I turned this love and enjoyment for cleaning into an income for myself and decided to provide these same services for families and business owners that contact me for cleaning services.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Recurring house cleaning are the most common jobs. I enjoy cleaning weekly for families that don't have time to manage the cleaning. Building relationships and leaving the customer feeling that their home is in good hands and they can return to a clean home each week is the best part.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you hire someone who has completed a background check, has good reviews, and has enough clear and concise information in the profile so you will need to ask no questions and just schedule your cleaning.
