- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I help busy, stressed professionals create peace and balance in their lives. I take a customized approach based on the client's current state and specific goals. I am most known for my intuitive healing sessions. Clients see tremendous results physically, emotionally and spiritually in working with me to facilitate their body's own natural self-healing powers. As an interfaith minister and spiritual healer, I work intuitively using Eastern and Western Reiki, Advanced Pranic Healing, clairvoyance, crystals, aromatherapy, cards and other techniques as guided by spirit. Around town, I'm also known as the "laughter lady" because of my big smile and giggly nature. I love to share the healing power of laughter with large groups. I've presented on laughter for hospitals, Fortune 100 corporations, senior citizen groups, kids events, festivals, churches, fitness centers and more. I also host a free community group, Louisville Laughter Yoga Club, which meets weekly and is open to the public. I'm a certified yoga instructor and experienced meditator, specializing in helping people who think they can't do yoga or meditate. In yoga, I teach styles such as Hatha, gentle, yin, chair and vinyasa, all suitable for the beginner yogi. I work from a functional aspect - it doesn't matter what a pose looks like. What matters is how you feel in a pose and what poses will help you get the most benefit. In meditation, I introduce students to many accessible styles of meditation and encourage them to work with the methods that work best for them. As a life coach, I can use these tools and more to help shift your thinking from disempowered to being aligned with your highest self. With full integration, you can achieve your goals and create the life you desire. Life actually gets easier. And I understand how difficult life can be. As a mom, daughter and military spouse, I've experienced my share of relationship and life issues. As a career person, as an "I've-been-overweight-my-whole-life" person, and as a survivor of bad life experiences, I've been there. I can help you overcome those places where you've felt stuck. I will help you create a life of balance - one that works for you and supports you in all of your life goals. I can help with career and business goals, too. With more than 20 years of consulting and corporate world experience, I know the challenges of the corporate environment. I will help you reduce your stress levels and increase your performance. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience in corporations and consulting. I am a Coach Training Alliance Certified Coach, Usui Reiki Master Trainer, Karuna Reiki Master Trainer and Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher. I am also a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) and certified Advanced Pranic Healing practitioner. I continue to learn in grow. I am in several professional organizations, participate in group forums, and attend continuing education classes and professional conferences for all of the modalities I work in.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I taught laughter yoga to a group of about 50 health care professionals as part of a team building event. We met at a park where they also did a cookout and made a day of it. It was so amazing to watch people who were nervous or reluctant to participate at first, start to loosen up and wind up really enjoying themselves. I received feedback from participants who told me they didn't even want to come to the event, but that they can't believe how amazing it was and what a great time they had!
