FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm currently in school, the college I attend does not offer photography classes. Because of this I mainly do research online. I use many websites like youTube to keep up to date on techniques used in photography. I also use websites like Pinterest and Tumblr to help stay up to date on what new ideas are out there and also to see what the audience likes the best. This helps when determining what new and creative props to use or new fun poses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In highschool I picked up a manual DSRL camera for an elective class. Before I knew it I was bringing that camera around with me everywhere I went. Even if I was just hanging out with friends. Today is pretty much the same story just with a different camera.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advise would be to look for someone who loves being a photographer. Someone who doesn't do it for the money, but someone who loses track of time photographing someone or something because they are so involved and determined to get a good image.
