Started off with small goals, which in turn grew to be much bigger goals after working with Zach at Assault Fitness. My initial goals were normal, to have defined muscle tone, more energy to be able to run a 5k (never was a runner). After just a few months, I had more energy, muscle tone and was able to run a 5k that was on my bucket list. Once you see results, you want more. And yes, I wanted more, I had bigger goals. My next set of goals were to lose 10 more pounds (after losing 65+ pounds), a 1/2 marathon and a Tough Mudder. I did all of these things and more with Zach's help. He wants to get to know you, what your strengths and weakness are and then builds on them. Making you stronger and better. I've been training with Zach since 2013 and would not change a thing. In this time I've accomplished by goals and have set more each time. I'm currently training for my 4th 1/2 marathon (March 2015), I will do my 3rd Tough Mudder (June 2015) and have increased my pace on 5k's and 10k's. Not to mention I'm stronger and have more energy than ever! Zach always goes above and beyond, he keeps you motivated and accountable. Always a great workout and it's never old or boring. I honestly don't think I've ever done the same 1 hour workout twice in the 2+ years I've been training with him and I train 2-3 times a week. Zach is by far the most reliable, dependable, flexible trainer out there. He cares about his clients and their personal fitness goals. I would highly recommend Zach for personal training.

I began training with Zach when I was just four months postpartum with my first child. As a power yoga lover and former collegiate swimmer, I was honestly just looking for convenient way to fit in some exercise during the workday. I initially didn't expect it to be challenging; I just figured any workout was better than none with my newly busy life. The first session was TOUGH, and I was sore for days. I knew that meant it was good for my body, and I was hooked. Every workout Zach leads is unique and targets the entire body. He utilizes a combination of weight training, resistance training, and pure body weight movements. He has a no nonsense approach, motivates without being intimidating, and caters to all abilities. I trained with Zach throughout my second pregnancy as well, (up until 36 weeks), and he helped to modify moves while continuing to push me. I firmly believe all that work was the reason for any easy recovery after childbirth! It's been over two years and I am still sore after every workout. Again, this is a GOOD thing! Zach's gym in northern Kentucky is a top notch facility and he himself embodies the same principles that he strives to "teach" - he truly sets a great example. I would recommend his personal training services to anyone - whether you are new to fitness altogether, already have a strong base, or even if you are an elite athlete looking to improve strength or endurance. I’ve been working out with Stephanie at Assault Fitness for 2 days a week since January 2016, and now I can’t imagine a week without her. I turned 60 in September and in relatively good shape. Her workouts are never boring, never the same and always tough and challenging, but never over the top! The space at Assault Fitness is large, open and well-organized. The atmosphere is very friendly as you may work simultaneously with other trainers and clients. The location is easy to get to, free parking and the large, clean bathrooms are great for showering. I would highly recommend Stephanie as a trainer who will help you meet your goals, and Assault Fitness as a special place to work out. Lisa S.
