Our work is unique in that we offer a 2 person perspective in every photo session. My husband and I both photograph during the session. We each have our own style so you get a lot of diversity. Another great thing is that you are receiving 2 photographers for the price of one and getting double the images you would with one photographer. I love the creativity of photography. It is truly amazing to capture someone's special moment in a photograph. I also enjoy taking an image and working with editing software to make it truly unique and artsy! My husband enjoys the interaction with people and getting to know everyone. He is so good at making people feel comfortable and he is excellent at putting children at ease and making them laugh. We both enjoy being able to share this passion for photography and do this venture together. We have also expanded and added two wonderful additions to our team. Sarah is an exercise buff and a talented photographer and she has been with our team for going on 3 years. Roman is a great guy with an infectious smile and he is a new addition to our team this year, who dreams of managing his own photography company! Can't wait for you to meet them!

Gina and Scott are a great couple and very nice to work with. We hired them for our engagement session and had a lot of fun. They came well prepared and even brought prints of photos I pinned from Pinterest to make sure they get everything we want. I need to wear my wedding gown for engagement photos due to Chinese custom, and they were very patient waiting for me to dress up and take great caution to protect my dress from dirt. They're very professional and creative on site and we love every picture and moment they've captured for us.

Gina and Scott were absolutely wonderful for us on our wedding day. We planned a February wedding in three months and they were helpful all along the way. The things I love about them the most are their level of professionalism and expertise. Your wedding photography journey doesnt begin on the day you get married; it begins on the day you choose your photographer. Prior to the wedding, Gina and Scott were very flexible and open to meeting me at a time and location that was convenient for me. Scott even drove in all the way from Richmond to meet me in Lexington at no charge! During our initial meeting I had several questions and they answered all of them for me and erased any feelings of nervousness. They also had a packet of wedding grouping ideas. They helped me outline exactly which groups I wanted and Im so glad they did! This saved a lot of time on the day of the wedding because there was no time wasted on which shots would be done. We were able to get a ton of shots in a short amount of time. They also set up my own personal, private Pinterest page. I was able to gather all of my favorite Pinterest wedding shots and include them there so they would know what I liked. The day of the wedding Gina and Scott arrived on time and were prepared. Ive heard some horror stories from some of my friends about photographers showing up late or running out of battery. Not the case with these two. Professional all the way! Once they arrived they hit the ground running. They began setting up their equipment and testing the lighting situation around the church. My fiancé and I chose to do the first look photos. Im so glad we did. We saw each other for the first time before the wedding by ourselves. Scott and Gina were taking pictures in the background but we didnt even notice that they were there. My fiancé and I both agreed that the first look was our favorite part of the whole day. We both can be very shy so it was nice to see each first before anyone else. It was magical. We took all of our formal pictures before the wedding. Gina and Scott were wonderful at setting up our groupings. Taking formal pictures can feel a bit odd but they made the process fun and relaxing. They gave us some really fun photo ideas like the bride and the bridesmaids bumping bouquets and the groomsmen pretending to be jealous of the grooms ring. So much fun! During the wedding I didnt notice them at all. In fact several of my guests commented on how they barely noticed them either. I loved this! Ive been to some weddings where the photographer is running around up and down the aisle and creates a distraction. Not these two. They were able to fly under the radar and capture amazing shots. I received my wedding photos retouched after 3 or 4 weeks! Super-fast! Each photo is perfect and I cant stop looking at them. With all of that said, I couldnt imagine our wedding day without them. If we could do it all over again we wouldnt change a thing!

We were blessed to have found Scott & Gina through Thumbtack. It has been our honored to have worked with them for our engagement and wedding photos. Their professionalism, experience, support and creative suggestions were above and beyond what we ever imagined. Location suggestions, the Pinterst board and open communication made for remarkable photos. Working with Scott & Gina was fun, easy and the one thing we didn't have to stress over. They had everything under control and assisted in any other need we might have had, outside of their "normal" task. In working with them, they have became our friends, not just our photographers. WOW what is there not to love about this amazing couple. We had Scott and Gina do our engagement pictures as well as our wedding. We absolutely love all of our pictures. They took more detailed pictures and views than we could of ever imagined. Just their way of visioning and capturing it on film is amazing. During our wedding they showed up early in the morning to make sure they were there in time to catch me getting hair and make up just like i wanted and stayed until they got everything that we wanted them to catch. They just make it fun and enjoyable, they keep us laughing and i was having so much fun taking pictures that i didn't not have the least bit of stress wondering if everything was going to be perfect back at the venue. They really listened to what pictures I wanted taken and even had some of my pinterest posts printed out to make sure they took what i wanted. And when i came up with a picture i wanted on the spot they were more than happy to do it. I will most definitely be calling Scott and GIna in the future for maternity and family photos. I will be recommending them to everyone.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We pack in the value as our packages go up in price. We start at 6 hours of coverage and go up to 10 hours of coverage. Our packages include things like mothers' albums, a guestbook made with your engagement photos, a photo booth with props that will print (2) photo strips for each person onsite, a "Day of Event" slideshow, a very cool Mobile sharing album of your sneak peek within 24 hours of your wedding and best of all you'll get (2) very experienced photographers with every package we offer. Our prices start at $2,000 but we can also customize a package if your budget needs to be a little tighter. Can't wait to meet you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love getting to know you! Which is why we offer a FREE Engagement session with all of our wedding packages. It's our gift to you and it gives us the opportunity to get to know your style and likes/dislikes. This process makes for a super smooth wedding day for you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! We do at least one workshop or seminar every month to keep honing and developing our skill.
