FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on the service requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are several things I do to insure the final photographs meet both our expectations. First, usually on the phone or through messaging, there will be a discussion to determine the type of photographs, clothing, location, etc. Then on the day of the shoot we will finalize the particulars. Afterward I will make a few test shots to insure lighting and we will review the photographs. This will help us to determine if they are the type of photograph needed. The actual shoot will vary depending on your desired outcome. Immediately after the shoot we will in most cases review the photographs to determine if we have met our goal and for you to decide which photographs you want. I will then post process the photographs which can take up to 2 weeks. It will be much faster if there are only a few photographs. I frequently email customers photographs during the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
me career as a photography started with a love for nature. Back in the days of film I would stop the car and take photographs along the side of the road. I have participted in many art shows. When film gave way to digital photography I became a sport photographer. Most weekends were spent shooting kids as they played or taking team portraits. Soon people were seeking me out to photograph seniors, their families, and weddings. I have 2 photographs as part of the permanent collection at Great Sand Dunes National Park and was honored to have the first solo art show and had the first solo art exhibit at Arkansas Tech (part of the University of Arkanas) in their new gallery.
