I hired Derrick Taylor at TMJ Mobile Sound for my Mother's 70th Birthday Party. I was really impressed with Derrick before we even met. I used Thumbtack to look for DJ's and he quickly let me know the price range I was willing to pay for the amount of time needed was too much. I was more than impressed with that level of honesty. All communication leading up to the event was prompt and highly professional. Derrick was even at the party venue prior to my arrival, setup and ready to go! I will be the first to admit the crowd attending my event was not the easiest. The guests ranged in age from 3 - 70 and varied in personalities from reserved to outgoing. Still, by the end of the night Derrick had EVERYONE up and out of their seat. Thank you Derrick Taylor and you "sho nuff played My Jam!" LOL!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work within your budget and give you the most for your money. I have various packages. It depends on the customer's request and needs. All my packages are negotiable and can be customized to fit your budget . I can do a very basic setup or I can upgrade to a few more features to compliment the theme of the event. Again its all about you
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establish Communication and provide customer service. I then discuss the details of the event( the occasion, location and playlist if suggested). .Provide a Contract and provide DJ/Musical services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I participate in DJ forums to keep me abreast on latest songs trends and equipment. I also travel with other veteran DJs to pick up tips and new ideas.
