FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Contact: The process begins with the client reaching out to us through phone, email, or our website. During this initial contact, the client briefly explains their situation and what they're hoping to achieve by hiring a private investigator. 2. Free Consultation: We then offer a free, no-obligation consultation, either in-person, over the phone, or via a virtual meeting, depending on the client's preference. The purpose of this consultation is to discuss the case in more detail, identify the client's specific needs, and determine if our services can assist in achieving their goals. 3. Case Evaluation: If we determine that we can assist with the client's situation, we conduct a thorough case evaluation. This involves reviewing all the information provided by the client, any evidence they may already have, and assessing the potential strategies and resources needed for the investigation. 4. Proposal & Agreement: Following the case evaluation, we provide the client with a detailed proposal that includes the scope of work, estimated timeframe, and cost. If the client agrees to the terms, they sign a contract outlining the services to be provided, the fee structure, and confidentiality terms. 5. Payment: Depending on the contract, the client may be required to pay a retainer fee upfront, or the payment could be structured in installments. We make sure to discuss this in detail and agree upon it before we start the investigation. 6. Investigation: Once the agreement is signed and the payment is sorted, we commence the investigation. This could involve surveillance, record searches, interviews, undercover work, or other techniques, depending on the nature of the case. 7. Updates & Communication: Throughout the investigation, we ensure that the client is kept informed of any significant developments. We maintain open lines of communication, and the frequency of updates is typically agreed upon in the initial agreement. 8. Reporting: Upon completion of the investigation, we provide the client with a detailed report of our findings. The report can include photos, videos, documents, and a written summary of all relevant information uncovered during the investigation. 9. Case Closure: Once the client has received the report and all their questions have been answered, we consider the case closed. However, if there's a need for further investigation or if the client has any additional concerns, we are always ready to continue working on the case until the client is satisfied with the outcome. We strive to provide a transparent, professional, and efficient service throughout this entire process, ensuring that our clients feel supported and confident in our ability to handle their case.

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hiring a private investigator is a significant decision that requires careful consideration. Here are some key pieces of advice for anyone looking to hire a provider in this field: 1. Check Licensure: Ensure that the investigator is licensed. Most states, including Louisiana, require private investigators to be licensed. Licensing ensures that the investigator has undergone the necessary training and background checks. 2. Verify Experience: Not all investigators specialize in all areas of investigation. Some are experts in surveillance, others in background checks or fraud investigations. Make sure the investigator has a proven track record in the specific area that pertains to your case. 3. Confidentiality: The nature of investigative work requires a high level of confidentiality. Make sure your investigator has a solid reputation for maintaining client confidentiality and privacy. 4. Communication and Understanding: You want an investigator who will listen to your needs, understand your situation, and communicate effectively with you. The investigator should be able to explain their process and keep you informed about the progress of your case. 5. Check References: If possible, ask for references from previous clients who had similar cases. This will give you a good idea of their success rate and how they handle cases like yours. 6. Pricing Structure: Make sure you understand how the investigator charges for their services. Some investigators charge an hourly rate, while others may offer a flat rate for specific services. Be sure to ask about any additional costs like mileage, report writing, or court appearances. 7. Written Agreement: Always insist on a written contract. The agreement should outline what the investigator will do, what it will cost, and the time frame for completing the work. 8. Ethics and Integrity: It's essential that your investigator conducts their work ethically and legally. Unethical behavior or illegal practices can compromise your case and lead to legal trouble. 9. Patience: Investigations can take time, so be patient. A good investigator will work diligently to get you the information you need, but thorough investigations can't be rushed. Remember, it's crucial to feel comfortable with and trust the investigator you hire. They will be handling sensitive information and working on a matter that is important to you.
