Do your research. Make sure that the photographer is keeping up with the trends and know what current brides and grooms are looking for. Make sure that your photographer has the style that you envision for your wedding or portraits. Check out their blogs, as they provide great insight into the photographers approach. Make sure you feel comfortable with your photographer as youll be spending a lot of time with this person. Nobody wants to be nervous in front of the camera! This goes for the grooms too! If there is more than one photographer documenting your day, make sure the two styles merge nicely together. Ask around. Word of mouth is the best way to confirm that youre making the right decision.
