Generation Greta

Introduction: There's something satisfying to me about being able to capture the colors of the world through my own looking glass. There are several aspects of photography that I have fallen in love with. A camera can allow me to "zoom in" on life, drawing my attention to details in which many have never seen before. It also allows me to capture the light of the world in my lens, whether it be a candid shot of a child playing the in surf, a dancer drifting across the floor, or the vast beauty of open land. My focus on the world can be as big or as small as my clients choose. Cameras enable me to function as a time machine for my clients, holding a moment that not only holds an image, but all the memories and feelings that were occurring when the photo was taken. Photography is not only what I do, it's what I love. No matter what your need or occasion, I hope you'll consider allowing me to capture those moments you'll love for you. Hello! My name is Greta Gerstner I was born in Heidelberg, Germany. Due to my parents work, I spent a great deal of my childhood traveling the world. This exposed me to a variety of breathtaking environments, both physical and cultural. As I grew older, I returned to the States where I earned my Bachelors in Fine Art from Nicholls State University with focus in Photography. I currently reside in Lafayette, Louisiana where I make a living through photography.
