Outrageous prices in a disaster. Twice as much as other competitors.
Aug 18, 2016VerifiedMichael S.'s replyThis lady asked how much per sheet to hang, tape and float 4 x 12 sheets of drywall over the phone and i told her 17 a sheet for labor only and 33 for labor and materials. this is 33% below market rates. she is ignorant of the facts and the job was for her house flipping boy friend not her- scam artist looking for cheap to free labor so they can profit on the resale. BEWARE THESE CHEAP SKATE PEOPLE.
FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We estimate with Xactimate, the leading construction estimating software in the nation. The pricing is based on Lowes wholesale contracting pricing and federal labor indexes. When working with insurance claim contracts, we bill the insurance company for our reconstruction cost. When working on a competitive bid contract we estimate using XactRemodel pricing and offer the best valued bid we can while still remaining competitive and profitable as a business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We will send out an estimator to take a look at the project and offer a detailed, written quote defining the project in detail. On most projects we will invoice electronically for a deposit when we are hired for materials and labor to start. Once our client's project is completed and they are satisfied, we will submit another electronic invoice for final payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Our Management team has over 100 years of combined experience in the construction industry and holds Insurance Adjusting licensing, NFIP & Wind, Fire and Light Commercial certifications. We attend all the manufacturer training programs we can and our team leader is a Licensed Adjuster as well as a Registered home improvement contractor. He attends the latest insurance claim training programs available in the area as well as across the country.
