Duncan was prompt, professional, efficient, focused, well mannered, and went over and beyond expectations. He was a breath of fresh air. Not only did he satisfy my initial requests of 10+ things within a few hours (repair locks and latches on three doors, paint ceiling, hang a mirror, drill holes for wire portal, fix landscape watering system, check electrical for a chandelier and change the switch, install shades, etc) he also helped me install a toilet (I got to cancel the plumber!) and change my husbands flat tire! I highly recommend Duncan, and I've worked with fair share of handmen given my profession.

He worked with us to decide on how to hang several things in our house and was patient through our indecisiveness. He was early, explained everything thoroughly, and fixed up our walls after we changed our minds about everything and had to re-hang. I already have plans to do future work with him.

Initially, I hired Mr. Duncan just to fix a leaky door that I had in my garage apartment that I'm renting out. When I bought my house, I didn't really ever think I'd ever be able to make the garage apartment look presentable. When I talked with him, he told me that he could also take care of the laundry list of other issues I was having so I didn't need to hire anyone else. Mr. Duncan came and fixed everything that I gave him to do. He painted my kitchen cabinets, fixed my hot water heater and saved me $1000, he fixed some cabinet doors, he repaired dry wall that had holes in it. He painted the trim and fixed my leaky door. Everything was done very well and efficiently. He was prompt with communication and did it all for very cheap. In fact, I feel that I owe him at least a $100 tip for the work he did. I highly recommend him for other thumbtack users and will be hiring him for every other odd job I have from now on. Very reliable and good at what he does.
