- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I regularly attend workshops and read everything I can from photographers I admire.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
An obsession with imagery, whether in a movie or in a picture. I worked for a healthcare company many years ago and the one thing my co-worker/friends affectionately said to me was that I didn't belong in an office environment. Working full-time as a photographer was the best thing I've ever done.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
There was an event I shot recently that wasn't very fun but in an effort to create a dynamic, exciting look, I pretended that I was shooting a project for Magnum Photos (my dream agency to work for). As a result, the photos came out great!
