- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, we will discuss in-depth with the client what their goals and desires are for the project. Once an overall understanding for the layout of the design is reached, We will then draw up a detailed outline in the form of a proposal for the clients approval. This proposal will cover all pricing of materials labor and design fees, as well as provide the client with an estimated date of completion. Upon acceptance of the proposal, we will initiate all orders and begin any labor that may be necessary. Generally we charge a percentage over our net wholesale cost for the supervision of labor and ordering of goods.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.F.A. in Art and Art History. Additionally, I worked for top-flight designers in New York early in my career, which in itself was a considerable education. Also, I am an expert in historical design. I have done this work since I was a freshman in college.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a vast array of clients, some of which had a single residence, while others had multiple residences and even commercial properties. I have done everything from Fifth Avenue apartments in New York, to châteaus in Paris, Beachfront cottages in key West and most anything in between.
