- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a service fee ($280 if we send a 15' moving truck) and an hourly rate (based on how many movers we send). There is a fuel surcharge added for non-local moves and a heavylifting fee of $80 for items over 200lbs. We have no hidden/extra fees
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We can usually assess and schedule 1-2 bedroom move over the phone, and send the appropriate resources to get the job done as efficiently as possible. For anything more than than, we prefer to send a crew lead to do an on-site inspection to ensure we have everything we need to execute the job cost-effectively.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Colorado, own Moving NOLA and I've been a moving professional since 2012. All of our crew leads (4) have extensive moving experience (3+ years), and our crew members are trained in our standard operating procedures.
