Holli catered our 45th Wedding Anniversary cocktail party hosted by our children. The food and service were, in one word--AMAZING. I couldn't begin to name all of the dishes, but I certainly remember how they tasted. Our friends are foodies and they couldn't say enough about how good the everything was. One thing I really liked was that she paced the evening. She had several dishes ready when the guests started arriving. Then, she continued to cook all evening, adding hot new dishes. When I thought I couldn't possibly eat another bite, I smelled meat sizzling. She was searing a beautiful flank steak that she served on skewers. She came prepared with table covers, warming trays, etc. We didn't have to remember anything. That's all about the food. I'd like to say a little about Holli. She was patient with our myriad of questions and unflappable when we asked her to make a major change at the last minute. She and her staff arrived promptly and took care of the party in a quiet professional manner. When they left, my kitchen was clean as though they had never been there. She's hard to get, so book early.

I do not have the words to describe how amazing Casey is! We planned our big day at Race & Religious mostly remotely from NYC and thanks to Casey, it was a dream day. First of all, she is absolutely wonderful - so much so that we were sad when it was over (and trust me, we weren't sad about ending wedding planning). We knew from our first call that we had found the right planner. She takes great care and pride in getting to know her couples so that she can focus her talents on helping you create a day that is aligned with your vision and who you are as a couple. We worked with her to find the right plan and then she went above and beyond to make it all happen. Like many couples, we did not have unlimited funds and needed to put in a lot of work to find solutions to match our budget; Casey understood that and was super helpful in her suggestions and approach. We had many last minute things to work through and Casey was a pure professional about helping us tackle them all and not become overwhelmed in the process. Her expertise of the industry and our venue made our day easy. When we were scrambling last minute to finalize certain elements, Casey was wonderful in assisting us and offering great suggestions. One of the biggest stress-inducing parts of our day was having so many "DIY" elements which allowed us to create a wedding that was unique, but also had so many moving parts. We only had a few hours to set up the venue and a lot to coordinate, and I can't tell you how seamless it all went and just how special Casey made the day for us and we will never forget it! Any couple would be lucky to work with her.

Christy Romano with R&R Event Specialists was the day of wedding coordinator for my wedding, November 5, 2016. Our wedding was in New Orleans and our venue had a very helpful onsite coordinator. However, two weeks prior to the wedding I panicked and was concerned that we needed additional day of support. I found Christy via Thumbtack. Her quick reply and eagerness to communicate with me was very refreshing. After speaking to her on the phone and going through our vision for the wedding with her, I felt instantly better (and that was just over the phone!) We made a quick decision to hire her and I can honestly say, it was one of the best wedding planning decisions that I made! Within the week, I sent, at Christy’s request, a day of timeline, pictures of our décor and how I envisioned it being laid out, a list of special people at the wedding, bridal party, etc. Her amazing communication skills and want for detailed information were definitely a plus and helped relax me in the week leading up to the big day. Christy met with myself, our venue coordinator, my mother and my groom the morning before the wedding. We had a sit down meeting onsite and went through our entire comprehensive timeline. We did a walkthrough of the venue and made our expectations and needs clear. Christy was on the ball and had great questions about things we hadn’t even considered, as well as suggestions. She was even thoughtful enough to bring me a bridal emergency kit for the next day. The day of the wedding went exactly as I had hoped. Once Christy arrived, I spent 20 minutes with her getting her everything she would need for decorating. After that, I was left to enjoy the morning drinking champagne and getting ready with my bridesmaids and family. Christy periodically checked in throughout the day to see if we needed anything and did a great job coordinating with our arriving vendors, so that myself or my mother didn’t have to. Our day was stressfree and just what I had hoped for. She helped to keep us on schedule (which was a bit tricky as we had many activities throughout the day: Firsty look, family photos, bridal party photos, bridals, cocktail hour, second line, reception, etc – all of which required movement around the French Quarter). And followed our detailed timeline to the letter (we had some décor transitions we wanted done during our Second Line and they went perfectly). During the wedding itself, Christy was there when I needed her and made herself very available to myself, my groom and my mother. We had Christy stay 30 minutes until after the end of our reception to complete the breakdown of wedding. This allowed all of my family to transition easily to the after party bar we had chosen without having to do any cleanup. The biggest surprise we had was our arrival to our bridal suite after the wedding. Christy decorated our suite beautifully. Our suite was filled with flowers , our 2nd line umbrellas, candles, etc. She even had copies of our vows placed out for us. She left us a ton of cake and leftovers (which of course we devoured immediately). How she had the time to perfect all the details in our suite and throughout the wedding, I will never know. She greatly exceeded our expectations and I would 100% recommend her for any event coordination. Christy is professional, thoughtful and excellent at her job. My fiancé and I a vision for our wedding, but I let Christy use her creative skills to execute, and she did it fantastically! Hiring R&R Event Specialists for your wedding is a must do!

I chose to go to Charisma Creations for my wedding after seeing and experiencing and event generated by the company first hand. After the first consultation I knew I made the right decision. Terroyln, the owner, knows her stuff. She doesn't just work for you, she develops personal relationships with her clients. She listens to exactly what you want and fabricates your ideas and brings them to existence. I was very delighted with her work as well as everyone else. She took care of my wedding-planning needs from A to Z literally. Anything i asked she was more than willing to go out of her way to make sure my special day was stress-free. So that my husband and I could focus on just what the day way about. (:

Her passion for perfection, bubbly personality, and creative flair and ease to work with because in addition to catering she is a certified wedding planner made me feel comfortable she will deliver the wedding of our dreams. Not only is her team doing our food and beverage she has graciously agreed to go above and beyond and be our wedding coordinator at no extra charge. She had great ideas for how to break our menu up and serve late night sliders on our budget. Unbelievable!
