- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are in line with my experience. I do give discounts to Military and First Responders. I also understand financial hardships and try to work with people and there budget.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this after I was singing at Karaoke shows. People started to tell me I should do this kind of work and it was nice to here but I didn't think I could do it. So I went to work for someone doing Karaoke and after six months I started my own business and was making more money doing it part time than my full time job! After about nine months someone said "Do you do Weddings?" I said hesitantly sure. It went so well that I've been doing this for 27 years!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say check on their experience for 1, then interview them in person it's great to email people but you can't tell what people are like until you meet them.
