He bought his first pair of turntables in 2008 by delivering pizzas in Burlington, VT and listening to Donna Summer on repeat. Dan's work is awesome! We hired him for our wedding and he did a wonderful job :) couldn't have asked for anything better. Ours was an American-Indian fusion wedding and we wanted a mix of American and Bollywood music. He is very patient and listens to your needs and delivers effectively. We gave him a few music recommendations and he built on it very well. He also provided microphone / speakers for the priest for our outdoor Hindu ceremony and then moved all of his equipment inside for the reception. Guests loved dancing to his music. Apart from his work, he went above and beyond and gave us a recording of the speeches! We were sad that we didn't have a video of the speeches and a few days later Dan sends us the recording - it was very awesome of him! I would hire him as a DJ again in a heartbeat - his pricing is very very reasonable. Good luck for your future work, Dan!

Dan was exactly what I bargained for with our father-daughter dance. He'd never done one before and was open to suggestions, all the while doing his research to execute it like a pro. The set-list was spot on for the crowd and the girls had a blast. Not to mention sneaking some classic rock tunes in for the dads! INCREDIBLE for the value Only constructive thing for the future is that he doesn't Emcee as well - it's strictly DJ-ing the event. But he was great for us.

I am flexible and appreciate that clients frequently need to stay within a budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It’s my job to understand what the client’s background is, where guests are coming from, and if there is there any ethnic or cultural component. I love to create collaborative Spotify playlists with clients ahead of the event. This allows the client to get specific or just quickly review what I have planned.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been DJing professionally since 2014, and for friends and family since 2008. So much goes into DJing a party for someone vs. just showing up and playing fun songs. I love that process and it's always fun and unique for each event I do.
