I was the chair of the planning committee for my university's senior ball and one of the things that I really wanted to focus on was having a great DJ for our attendees to enjoy. This is a large annual event (1000+ people) and one of the biggest complaints from last year was that the DJ was horrible and caused people to leave the event early. We put a lot of time into searching for a quality DJ and Jacob did not disappoint. He was very sensitive to our desires for the evening and made sure to ask us questions about the nature of the event and the atmosphere we wanted to create. The night of the event was fantastic! Everyone who was present for the dance party really enjoyed themselves, people were singing along to songs, and the selection was varied enough so that everyone got a taste of what they wanted. Pleasing 1000 people is never easy, but Jacob hit the nail on the head! Very professional and great to work with.

Stop what you are doing right now and hire Jacob Sound! There are so many great things about working with him that it is hard to know where to begin. First, my wedding was amazing! Every transition was pulled off excellently and he fit right in with my guests. Second, my husband and I had no idea how to do a wedding, but Jacob made us feel so comfortable the entire time. He was attentive by let us know when we should start discussing details, he was really organized and did a great job explaining things that work and don't work. Lastly, during my wedding he not only did an amazing job getting everyone dancing but he made sure to check in with my husband and I when we approached the next event. This was HUGE for us! A wedding is crazy to put together, Jacob Sound is a great DJ and helps with so much more than just the music. Hire Him Now!

Jacob was our DJ and MC for our wedding and he is fantastic! We are so happy we found him through thumbtack. When looking for DJs, he stood out in terms of his professional responses and promptness as well as experience. It was clear that he had done a lot of weddings and many a times was walking us through what we should be thinking about! SO helpful! He spent many hours on the phone with us or via email going through the order of events, the music selection, answering all of our questions. We were reassured by the professional nature of his responses. He is also in our age range and so knew he would play music that would appeal to our friends and family, and were appropriate for the wedding! Once the dancing started, everyone was on the floor for the entire night! Thanks Jacob for being a part of our big day!
